Q: What is the cost of participation in the Congress?

 

A: As for all previous Congresses, there is no participation fee for the VIII Nevsky International Ecological Congress.

 
 

Q: How to register for the Congress?

 

A: To become a participant, you must have an invitation to the Congress, fill in the registration form on the website, attach a photo and send it to the registration team. You will receive an information letter in response stating that your personal data are being processed. Based on the results of processing, you will be informed on the success of the registration.

 
 

Q: When is the deadline of the registration for the Congress?

 

A: Preliminary registration of participants of the Congress finishes on 23 May 2017.

 
 

Q: Does the Congress cover accommodation, travel and catering costs?

 

A: The costs have to be covered by the participants. A cafe and buffets (cash payment only) will be available in the Tavrichesky Palace.

 
 

Q: Will there be a shuttle service between the hotels and the venue of the Congress?

 

A: Yes, a convenient shuttle service will be available between our affiliated hotels and the venue of the Congress.

 
 

Q: When can I get the participant’s ground pass?

 

A: The participant’s badge can be obtained at the registration desk in front of the Tavrichesky Palace (47, Shpalernaya Ulitsa):
-24 May 2017 - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
-25 May 2017 - from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
-26 May 2017 - from 8 a.m. to 9.30 p.m..

 
 

Q: Can I register on the days of the Congress if I have not registered online before?

 

A: Yes, you can. You should have an identification document and an invitation letter to participate in the Congress.

 
 

Q: May I speak at roundtables?

 

A: Speaker lists are managed by moderators of relevant roundtables. If at registration you indicate the topic and submit talking points, they will be transmitted to coordinators who will transfer the information to potential speakers or moderators. To confirm the inclusion of your presentation to the roundtable program, please contact relevant coordinators 3 days after the submission of the registration form. Please, consult the coordinators on the possibility of simultaneous interpretation at round tables.

 

Q: Will participants’ presentations be publicly available?

 

A: Resumes of all presentations in the roundtable programs will be published in the house periodical Newsletter of the Interparliamentary Assembly. The issue will be announced in advance. Resumes will be published even if the participant was unable or did not have enough time to make his/her presentation during the roundtable.

 

Q: Can one representative of the organization register and receive ground passes for all participants of the Congress from this organization?

 

A: Yes. To do this, you need to issue a power of attorney on letterhead paper of the organization in any form with mandatory indication of the passport data of the employee to whom the power of attorney was issued, the date of issue, and the signature of the head and the seal of the organization. It is mandatory to have an identification document.
